We built Penwork to work without an account. Here's exactly what we do (and don't) collect.
Last updated: March 2026
Penwork ("we", "our", "us") is a free web application available at penwork.tech that converts typed text into handwritten notebook pages. We are not a registered company; Penwork is an independent project.
Questions? Contact us at hello@penwork.tech.
Penwork does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information to use the core features. You can generate and download handwritten PDFs entirely anonymously.
When you visit Penwork, standard web server and analytics tools may automatically record:
This data is used solely to understand aggregate usage patterns (e.g. how many visitors per day) and to diagnose technical issues. We do not build individual profiles.
Penwork uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy practices:
We use a minimal number of cookies. Please read our Cookie Policy for full details. In summary:
All text you enter into Penwork is processed entirely in your browser. Your input text is never transmitted to our servers, stored in a database, or shared with any third party. The PDF generation happens locally on your device using the HTML5 Canvas API.
Because we do not store personal data on our servers, there is nothing to delete. Any analytics data we collect is retained in aggregate, anonymised form for up to 12 months, then purged.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights including access, correction, deletion, and objection to processing of personal data. Because we store virtually no personal data, most of these rights are satisfied by default. If you have a specific request, email us at hello@penwork.tech.
Penwork is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above. Continued use of Penwork after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
